Seitan Limania
Seitan Limania is a well-hidden corner of the northeast side of the Akrotiri peninsula, 20 km from the city of Chania, Crete.
The name consists of two parts; Seitan that actually means “Satan/devil” in Turkish, and Limania that means “ports, harbors” in Greek.
On the right and the left sides of the cove, huge marble rocks are standing high to protect the beach from the bad weather. The beach of Seitan Limania was not very popular until recently when the road that gets here was constructed.
Climb down the path in about 5-10min. and you are at the beautiful beach of Seitan Limania! So, if you get to Chania be sure to visit Seitan Limania and it will seem to you as a small heaven on earth!
